What an amazing experience it has been to work with fitness photographer, Rob Sims Photography Studios! I shot with Rob Sims for the first time just a couple of months after my second NPC Figure Competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a novice to the fitness industry, and a first-time fitness model, I had no idea what to expect! Not only did Rob put me at ease, but he helped me to find the confidence and the freedom to express myself, despite my own self-doubts. Rob takes a personal interest in each of his models--emphasizing each girl's own unique strengths, while teaching her how to improve as a model.

Rob is able to strike a careful balance between allowing you the freedom of creative expression, while providing the technical feedback and guidance necessary to create the best possible images. One of the things that I truly appreciate about Rob is his honesty. You always know where you stand, and that you'll be given sincere, honest feedback in order to become a better model.

 

I was surprised to find that Rob works just as hard or harder than his models during his shoots, and that he is almost as physically fit as we are! He will take whatever action is necessary to get the best angle and light, whether that means crawling over rugged terrain or lying in a bed of cactuses! Rob's knowledge of the fitness industry is second to none. With his many years of experience, he is able to offer the guidance, suggestions, and support necessary to help his models to reach their personal goals and aspirations in the business--And he has a gift for being able to identify their unique and individual strengths and talents.

 

For me, he saw something in my "gift of gab", and encouraged me to develop my skills behind the mic! So in addition to continuing my work as a fitness model, I have embarked on a new journey of interviewing, advertising, and promoting the hottest fitness competitors and nutrition companies in the industry. I am so grateful to a Rob for recognizing my skills, encouraging me to follow my dreams and to live my passion, and for working countless hours behind the scenes to make it all possible.

 

Rob is truly a professional and a genuine person who is sincerely interested in helping you to grow, develop, and to live your dream. When it comes to fitness photography, there is no one better! I consider it an honor and a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with Rob, and I look forward to continuing my partnership with him as both a fitness model and a communications specialist. I'm excited to see where this fitness journey takes me, and to what new opportunities lie ahead! Thank you, Rob!
